An Organic Conversation with Helge Hellberg, the new radio show broadcast every Saturday at 10 a.m. PDT on Clear Channel affiliate Green 960am (www.Green960.com), this week tackled the issues surrounding local and national efforts to increase the quality of school lunches for kids.

The show discusses today's social and environmental challenges and the solutions that move society towards healthy living, and sustainable choices, and is hosted by Helge Hellberg, executive director of Marin Organic, an association of organic food producers in Marin County, Calif., which has become one of the most progressive food-based organizations in the United States.
Every Saturday, Dan McGovern, publisher of Sustainable Food News, kicks-off each hour-long show with a consumer-oriented, weekly news service, followed by an in-depth conversation with Hellberg about the most pressing topics of the week.
